I am a member of NIPE, Economic Policies Research Unit, and an assistant professor at the University of Minho, Department of Economics. My research focuses on Dynamic Macro-Economic Theory and Modeling. I am also interested in Applied Time Series Analysis.
I finished my Economics PhD in 2005. I studied at Cornell University under the supervision of Karl Shell (chair), Yi Wen, Nicholas Kiefer and Yongmiao Hong. Before going to Cornell, I completed my Master studies in the University of Porto. Francisco Louçã was my supervisor.
